Justin Baldoni must pay Blake Lively’s legal fees in the defamation case he filed against her. However, the court will not allow her to recover compensation for alleged damage to his reputation, American media reported on Friday.
Last month Baldoni and Lively settled their long-running conflict. The actress accused the director and actor of the film It ends with us in which they starred together, at the end of 2024 of sexual harassment. He filed a counter-suit of defamation, which was dismissed in June last year.
However, the actress then continued with a request for damages in Baldoni’s defamation case, but will only be reimbursed for her legal costs. According to The Hollywood Reporter it could be a figure with six zeros, given the top lawyers Lively had hired.
According to American media, the settlement involved Baldoni and Lively, who worked together on the film It ends with us no money was paid out.
