Speaker of the Parliament Jussi Halla-aho (ps), on the other hand, told Iltalehte on Friday that participating in a reality television program is not an acceptable personal reason to be absent. Halla-aho already said last fall that it is not possible to make an official absence report for participating in the entertainment program.
According to information from Iltalehti, also a member of parliament of the coalition Noora Fagerström has participated Special forces filming, but he is not involved in the same production season as Virra. Contacted by Iltalehti, Fagerström himself does not comment on the matter in any way. Iltalehti has not reached Virta.
