Cessation of search for missing man (73) due to wolf caused commotion: ‘But wild boars also fiercely defend their territory’

The search for a 73-year-old resident from Wezep was stopped at 10 p.m. on Saturday evening in the northern forests of the Veluwe by the volunteers of SAR (Search and Rescue) Netherlands. Partly out of respect for wolves, and that led to a lot of fuss. The hypothermic man was found by a group of cyclists on Sunday morning.
