
In the yard of the monumental bell-shaped farmhouse from 1936, it looks as if time has accumulated in layers. Under the high roof, where hay was once stacked up to fifteen meters high, there are now rows of Citroëns. Outside, between the barns and along the ditches, even more. There are 72 in total, says owner Dick Veldhuizen. ‘And more than fifty of them are registered. If I just debark them, I can drive them straight away.’
