Shiny carriages, beautifully caparisoned horses and participants in historical clothing attracted plenty of attention on Saturday during the Nienoord500 carriage ride. The tour, organized by Borg and National Carriage Museum Nienoord, passed through Leek, Roden, Nietap and Midwolde and was one of the crowd pullers in Nienoord’s anniversary year.
