Two boys in Tilburg caused a nuisance on Groenstraat on Saturday afternoon. The couple threw rubbish over a fence, hitting cars in the parking lot of an adjacent supermarket. The young gentlemen were allowed to roll up their sleeves and clean up the mess themselves.

Officers received a report in the afternoon that the young people were throwing all kinds of objects over the fence: a pan, a milk carton, iron legs of a fire basket, some wooden slats and even a pair of pumps flew through the air.

The mess ended up on the other side of the fence in the parking lot of the Jumbo on Groenstraat. Several cars were hit and damaged and one car also had an egg thrown against the windshield.

Clean up
After a short search, officers managed to track down the two boys. They had to clean up the mess in the parking lot and were referred to HALT, an organization that tackles juvenile crime and inappropriate behavior of young people.

The owners of the damaged cars can recover damages from the boys and their parents.
