The Football World Cup starts on June 11th in Canada, Mexico and the USA. For five and a half weeks, 48 ​​teams will fight for the title. You can find out who is playing against whom and when in our printable World Cup schedule.

As one of three hosts of the 2026 World Cup, Mexico will play the opening game against South Africa on Thursday, June 11th at 9 p.m. The German national team starts the tournament three days later: on Sunday evening they will play against the team from Curaçao at 7 p.m. The DFB team then continues the game against Ivory Coast just over a week later. At the end of the preliminary round, Germany will play against Ecuador on June 25th.

Download the schedule and open the PDF. Go to the Print menu and click the Customize button under Customize Page and Options. This ensures that the edge is not cut off when printing. Who will Germany face after the group stage?

If Julian Nagelsmann’s team finishes the group phase first, they will face someone third in the group in the round of 16. These could include South Korea, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Scotland, Paraguay or Sweden. If the German team comes second in the group, their next opponent will be the second team from Group I. France, Norway or Senegal are possible candidates. If the German national team only progresses as one of six third-placed teams, a group winner awaits them. This could be, for example, Belgium, the USA, Mexico, England, Switzerland or Portugal.
