Just in time for the Monaco Grand Prix 2026, LEGO has released two new helmet sets from the Editions series – the occasion could hardly be bigger: McLaren’s 1,000th Grand Prix participation. The sets for Lando Norris (43023) and Oscar Piastri (43017) have been available since June 3, 2026 and directly in the LEGO online shop can be ordered.*

McLaren’s milestone in stone
Both helmet models were created in close collaboration between the McLaren drivers and the LEGO design team. What’s special: Norris and Piastri wear real versions of their LEGO helmets on the track at the Monaco GP – a detail that makes these sets real collector’s items. McLaren marketing boss Louise McEwen said at the launch: “We see our drivers’ helmets reimagined through LEGO creativity and then live on track in Monaco – this is a powerful connection between our heritage and new audiences.”
LEGO Lando Norris Helmet (43023) – Papaya meets World Champion Yellow
One half of the helmet shows the typical McLaren Papaya orange – as a tribute to the 1,000th. The team’s Grand Prix anniversary. The other side belongs entirely to Lando: the characteristic one yellow-black patternshis trademark for years. The minifigure bears his signature, race number and the LN logo on a base plaque. The finished helmet measures 18 × 11 × 13 cm.

LEGO Oscar Piastri Helmet (43017) – Orange and Australian Blue
Piastri’s helmet combined Papaya orange with his characteristic Blue tonewhich runs through his entire career design. Many details are printed instead of glued on – a quality feature of the entire Edition series. The minifigure shows the Australian in casual clothing: shorts, flip-flops, T-shirt with a kangaroo logo. Piastri himself on social media: “You did an incredible job with the hair – that’s definitely me. It’s going on my bedside table.”

Who are the sets worthwhile for?
Both models are aimed at F1 fans aged 14 and over and are suitable as room decoration or as a complement to the already released Ferrari helmets from Lewis Hamilton (43022) and Charles Leclerc (43014). About the LEGO Builder app The models can be digitally rotated and enlarged – practical for checking construction progress. If you place all four McLaren and Ferrari helmets next to each other, you will have a complete 2026 season in miniature format on the shelf.
