It’s already over for Eva Jinek: last night was the season finale of her talk show. For the final item she chose good friend Merel Westrik, who has made some nature film. There is laughter, there is giggling, and Merel is consistently called ‘More’. TV authority Tina Nijkamp views it with dismay and is critical.

‘Incomprehensible!’

Tina really doesn’t think it’s all good. “It’s the last episode of the Eva season, so I may understand it, but what an incredibly ‘giggle friends’ topic this is with Eva. About a film by good friend Merel Westrik.
Completely incomprehensible to the average Dutch person. Total.”

She continues on her analysis channel: “Bubble. Amsterdam bubble too. But mostly a lot of giggling. And ‘More’ instead of ‘Blackbird’. It’s nice that they are such good friends. But in terms of item: incomprehensible. And quite uninteresting.”

Successful season

The season finale of Eva was watched by 821 thousand people, making it number five of the evening. “Yesterday’s episode exuded some laziness and was not her best episode: why, for example, was there attention to animal masturbation and the film Merel Westrik, but not to the death of Lieke Marsman?”

“But Eva can nevertheless look back on a more than successful season. With increasing viewing figures compared to the previous season. She does not have to report again until August 31.”
