The lawn on the main pitch of UANL Tigres is said to have defects – the background is a recent change. Japan’s national team is therefore probably switching to another facility.
Japan’s national soccer team is preparing for the World Cup in Monterrey – but the planned training ground at the UANL Tigres facility is apparently not available. According to media reports, the lawn there has defects because the transition from winter to summer lawn only began a few weeks ago.
The poor condition of the turf forced the Japanese to look for an alternative location, ABC reported. The Club de Futbol Monterrey facility should serve as an alternative location.
