the goal

Visibly moved was the journalist Giuseppe Formato, author of the work, who explained how the objective of the book was to tell not only the champion, but above all the man: “Behind every great victory there are sacrifices, choices and values that deserve to be handed down. This evening’s participation demonstrates how Dante is still a point of reference for our sport today. As a journalist I say that the champions of the sport of bowls must tell their stories, because we need young people and the kids become passionate about a discipline also thanks to the own idols and favorites”.

the protagonist

The most intense moment came with the intervention of the protagonist of the evening, Dante D’Alessandro, who thanked the public and all those who contributed to the creation of the volume: “I have always lived bowls with passion and dedication. Seeing so much affection around my story is something that I will carry in my heart. This book represents a gift that I will cherish forever and I thank Giuseppe Formato for having told my story with so much attention and affection”.
