FC Bayern is said to be interested in Nathaniel Brown. But Eintracht Frankfurt’s price tag for the German international could ultimately be too high – at least for now.
“Frankfurt is demanding a transfer fee of around 65 million euros. That would be too much for Bayern,” commented “Bild” football director Christian Falk on the “cfbayerninsider.com” portal on the rumors currently circulating about Brown.
The 22-year-old is “interesting” for FC Bayern. But Eberl would have to sell Hiroki Ito or Alphonso Davies first, said the transfer reporter.
Most recently, “The Athletic” reported on the German record champions’ interest in Brown. Arsenal FC should also focus on the left-back.
Eintracht Frankfurt has a big transfer win
Eintracht Frankfurt signed Brown from 1. FC Nürnberg in January 2024. The transfer fee at that time was said to have been around three million euros. The SGE could therefore make a large transfer profit with a sale.
Brown is currently preparing for the 2026 World Cup with the German national team. After a convincing performance in the friendly against Finland (4-0), the Frankfurter even has a regular place on the left side of defense. David Raum from RB Leipzig is also heading towards the World Cup with legitimate demands.
Brown has “a lot of potential, is a very good one-on-one player, has a lot of speed, does it very cleverly and feels comfortable in the half-space,” praised national coach Julian Nagelsmann.
“They are two very good players who embody different styles and could both start,” said the 38-year-old, commenting on the competition in the DFB team.
If Brown impresses at the World Cup, his market value could increase even further. FC Bayern is likely to monitor developments in the coming weeks.
