Turkish Volleyball Federation published a statement about the foreign player rules that will be applied in the leagues before the next season.
In the article regarding the Sultans and Efeler leagues, “As of the 2026-27 season, sports clubs/sports joint stock companies in the Turkish Sultans/Efeler leagues will be able to have a maximum of 6 foreign national athletes in the 14-person competition squad and a maximum of 3 foreign national athletes on the field at the same time.” It was said.
According to the 3+2 foreign player rule applied in previous seasons, teams could include 5 foreign athletes in their 14-man match squads and a maximum of 3 foreign athletes in the game.
