Dutch virologist Vincent Munster has been charged in the United States with smuggling vials of deactivated MPOX virus (formerly ‘monkeypox’) from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and lying about it during interrogations by investigators at a Detroit airport. This was reported by an American court and the FBI.
