Complete Epstein dossier available in Manhattan: 3,400 books and millions of pages

It has recently become a reality in Manhattan (New York). complete Epstein file can be physically consulted. An American organization collected all documents published by the government in a library. The result: 3,437 thick books and 3.5 million pages of evidence. However, not everyone gets access to all documents.

‘The Donald J. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Reading Room’. That’s how it baptized Institute for Primary Facts (IPF), an American organization that strives for more transparency and democracy, their project. In a kind pop-up library in Manhattan the complete Epstein file can still be consulted physically until May 21, in book(s) form.

The intention of the initiative is to “maintain public attention on Epstein’s crimes” and counter the Trump administration’s “hopeless attempts to bury the documents,” the organization wrote on its website. The initiators also want to do this with their project helping survivors find justiceit sounds.

Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender accused of running an international human trafficking network involving minors, has been stirring up tensions in the US for years. Since his suicide in 2019, all kinds of conspiracy theories about the man and his death have been circulating.

These were only fueled even more when it gradually became known which ones in recent years prominent figures all belonged to Epstein’s (intimate or less intimate) circle of acquaintances. Including the former British Prince Andrewthe former American president Bill Clinton and current American president Donald Trump appear in the ‘files’, although they were never convicted in the file.

It Last year, Congress required the Justice Department to make the full investigation into Epstein public. However, the publication of the documents was subject to much criticism. Some documents became made illegible before they were released. According to the ministry, these edits were necessary to protect victims, but according to critics, the censorship was mainly intended to protect the victims important figures that appear in the file protect.

IPF now wants to put an end to that. “Corruption, cover-ups and crime cannot hide in the reading room,” the organization said. To protect victims, we do Only certain professional groups (journalists, lawyers) have access to all documents.

The library will remain open until May 21.
