The wolf that bit a runner in De Hoge Veluwe National Park last year may no longer be shot for the time being. The province of Gelderland has decided to withdraw permission for this. In May last year, the province issued a permit to kill the “problem wolf”, nicknamed Hubertus by animal rights activists.
