The GrandTour Life is nowwhich was supposed to start on June 29th in Venice, in Piazza San Marco, was therefore postponed by a year, with dates re-scheduled for summer 2027. “I held my eyes and my lungs” said Claudio Baglioni in the video aimed at fans, to communicate the postponement of the GrandTour. The tired face, the red eyes, the voice that comes out with difficulty as is normal for those who find themselves suffering from interstitial pneumonia. He quotes one of his songs to talk about those parts of the body that he “used to do his job” and which have always supported him throughout his career and which have now betrayed him. In the video released on Instagram, he said he had caught what seemed like a simple flu, perhaps out of season, close to his birthday. Since it never went away, he underwent tests and “it turned out that it wasn’t just a simple flu, but it was pneumonia, acute, interstitial pneumonia”.
necessary rest

Claudio Baglioni, who recently turned 75added that the most acute phase has passed but he has received a prognosis of 90 days of rest and treatment and this, obviously, prevents him from doing the scheduled concerts. Also because, as he explained in the video, his concerts are more than three hours long and has “quite a demanding repertoire”. Before starting to sing his songs again he therefore needs to regain his strength and fully recover his functionality.
