Tanja Undav was also in the Mainz stadium to watch the game. On Instagram she showed herself in the Germany jersey with the number 26 on the back – her husband’s number. The Stuttgart striker has been married to Tanja Undav since 2021. Three years later they had offspring. Tanja Undav revealed her pregnancy when she was at the stadium with a baby bump. Deniz Undav’s club then announced the birth on Instagram in August 2024. The message said: “Deniz and his wife Tanja have become the proud parents of a healthy daughter. VfB warmly congratulates on the birth and wishes the young family all the best for the future!”
The couple stayed away from social media for a long time
At that time, both Deniz and Tanja Undav were not on Instagram. The footballer explained his absence to “Sport Bild” at the beginning of 2024: “Even before things went so well here, I was annoyed by a lot of inquiries via Insta, from people who suddenly came back after 10, 15 years and said: ‘Brother, how are you, do you have tickets? Can you give me your jersey?’ And if I didn’t answer, I was suddenly considered arrogant.” He then deleted his account.
He returned again in September 2024, but only posted sporting photos there. “I’m not the type of person who posts about training or what he eats every day. If people want to see me play football, they can come to the stadium or watch me on TV,” said Undav.

His wife thinks otherwise. She made her first Instagram post in November 2024. She also shares private recordings with her 15,800 followers. Your most recent post shows a selection of photos from Berlin, where Stuttgart last played in the DFB Cup against FC Bayern Munich (0:3). She wrote about the recordings: “Grateful for all the moments we get to experience with you.” In the comments section, her husband responded with the words: “You are my life.”
