Many emergency asylum seekers’ centers regularly appear in neighborhoods or villages that are already struggling. Groups of asylum seekers end up in places characterized by poverty, unemployment and crime. Such as in Apeldoorn: “240 asylum seekers at once. Far too much is being asked of this neighborhood.”
