The KNMI warns on Saturday evening of strong thunderstorms, gusts of wind and hail in the east of Brabant. Code yellow has been in effect in Brabant since ten o’clock.
The thunderstorms may produce wind gusts of 60 kilometers per hour. Hailstones can be around 1 centimeter in diameter. Locally, 20 to 30 millimeters of rain may fall, according to the KNMI.
The heavy thunderstorms are currently above Belgium and will enter Limburg and possibly North Brabant during the evening. The warning has been in effect since ten o’clock and is now expected to last until 3 a.m. Sunday morning.
Code yellow was also in force in Brabant on Friday.
