WHO draws up list of priority candidate drugs and vaccines for Ebola variant Bundibugyo

The World Health Organization (WHO) published on Saturday an overview of the most promising drug and vaccine candidates against the Bundibugyo variant of the Ebola virus, which is responsible for the current Ebola outbreak in Congo and Uganda. “They are sufficiently promising to warrant priority evaluation in the context of clinical trials,” the organization says on X (formerly Twitter).
