The former coach of NEC, Sparta Rotterdam and Almere City FC, among others, says he is very picky about what he wants to do within or outside of football. “I have had quite a few direct and indirect requests. For me, I want to have as much fun as possible with the people around me. I calculate in time and not in salary.”
End of career in Volendam
Nevertheless, Pastoor (59) hopes to take a seat in the dugout of FC Volendam as head coach in the future. “To end my career, Volendam would be a blast, but I have already done a similar challenge. I am still too ambitious for that.”
