The car ended up in the water last night around 2:30 am. Several emergency services were alerted shortly afterwards.
Diving crew looking for occupants
The fire brigade started a search shortly afterwards. Since 8 a.m. this morning there has also been a diving team searching the water for possible occupants.
The search is being done as a precaution, a police spokesperson emphasizes. “We have no idea if there were people in the car, but we always err on the side of caution in cases like this.”
