The West Flemish MUG helicopter has already been deployed 394 times in the first four months of this year. This is evident from figures that provincial councilor Kurt Himpe (N-VA) requested from deputy Kelly Detavernier (N-VA). If the number of interventions continues to increase at this pace, this year could break last year’s record.
