The beach houses are right next to each other towards the sea. The first house has completely burned down and the other has been removed from the row and is being extinguished. The adjacent houses have also been removed from the row to prevent the fire from spreading further.

The video below shows a gas cylinder exploding in one of the houses. The fire brigade is working to cool the gas bottles in the house to prevent more from exploding.

According to the spokesperson for the safety region, the fire was prevented from spreading to the dune area behind it.

The fire was under control just before 9 p.m. and the emergency services left the beach one by one.

The fire produces smoke that can be seen from a distance. The safety region therefore calls on local residents who are affected by it to close windows and doors and turn off mechanical ventilation.
