The Kingdom Council of Ministers has approved 2 ambassadorial appointments at the proposal of Minister Berendsen of Foreign Affairs. These are only final once the host countries have given their approval. The appointments will take effect from this summer.
The Kingdom Council of Ministers agreed to the appointment of ambassadors to the following posts:
- Panama, based in Panama City: Fred Duijn, now ambassador in Chisinau;
- Dominican Republic, based in Santo Domingo: Hélène Rekkers, now consul general in Cape Town.
