The renowned business magazine “Forbes” published its list of the most valuable football clubs in the world on Friday. Real Madrid remains the ultimate, FC Bayern and BVB are also at the forefront. The 30 selected clubs include a third Bundesliga club, VfB Stuttgart.

Real Madrid is and remains the most valuable football club in the world. This is what the renowned US business magazine “Forbes” calculated. In the list of the 30 most valuable clubs, the Royals are in first place by a large margin.

According to Forbes estimates, Real Madrid is worth a whopping $9.5 billion. No other club comes even close to this number – despite the disappointing two years that the Spanish record champions have had behind them.

FC Barcelona takes second place in the ranking. The Catalans are listed as worth $7.5 billion. This puts them just ahead of England’s giant Manchester United, which is worth $7.2 billion according to Forbes.

FC Bayern narrowly missed the top 5

Fourth and fifth places in the rankings go to Liverpool FC and Paris Saint-Germain. Forbes lists the English at $6.2 billion and the French at $5.8 billion.

FC Bayern just missed the top 5. The German record champions are in sixth place with a value of $5.7 billion. Manchester City, Arsenal FC, Chelsea FC and Tottenham complete the top 10.

BVB still managed a good 13th place in the Forbes ranking. The Dortmunders are therefore worth 2.2 billion US dollars. Somewhat surprisingly, VfB Stuttgart also made it into the list of the 30 most valuable clubs. With a value of 880 million US dollars, the Swabians are listed in 28th place.
