Samson Dauda revealed that he spends up to $4,800 a month (about €4,100) on food alone. He told about it in an article published about a month ago One54 Africa on the podcast.

The 2024 Mr. Olympia winner has been focusing on bulking up for the past few months, and the results are coming. Generation Iron according to Dauda’s goal is to increase his weight to 350 pounds, or about 160 kilograms. Currently, one of the biggest top bodybuilders in the world weighs around 346 lbs.

Born in Nigeria, Dauda’s diet is practically a full-time project. According to him, the huge food expenses arise primarily from the quantity, quality and exact rhythm of the food, which top-level bodybuilding requires day after day.

Maintaining a massive physique while keeping your body fat percentage at a competitive level requires constant and carefully planned calorie refueling.

Dauda said in the podcast that he prefers food made from almost completely whole ingredients instead of ready-made meals. He considers the quality of his diet to be one of the main reasons behind his success.

According to him, success at the absolute peak of bodybuilding requires complete control over the quality of the food, its preparation, as well as the daily rhythm.

Dauda’s typical diet includes several meals a day, eggs and whey protein shakes, large portions of chicken breast and steak, plenty of rice, oats, pasta and sweet potatoes, and as little processed food as possible.
