Ousmane Dembele and Achraf Hakimi are in Paris Saint-Germain’s squad for Saturday’s Champions League final against Arsenal. The Golden Ball winner and the Moroccan international have recovered from injuries, the French champion reports.
Striker Dembélé suffered a calf injury during the last league match against Paris FC on May 17. The injury turned out not to be serious, so he was able to resume group training on Tuesday. Right back Hakimi injured his thigh on April 28 in the first semi-final of the Champions League against Bayern Munich. Hakimi could also rejoin the selection on Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain said.
Trainer Luis Enrique has access to his entire selection. The basic setup can be completed in most places. Luis Enrique has to choose between midfielders Fabián Ruiz and Warren Zaire-Emery. The latter can also replace Hakimi as right back, should Hakimi have a setback.
At the forefront there is competition between Désiré Doué and Bradley Barcola. Doué played more often in the starting line-up in the last Champions League matches.
