A small drug lab was discovered on Thursday evening in an apartment at Burgemeester Molenaarhoeven in Rosmalen, where synthetic drugs were made. The emergency services tracked down jerry cans, among other things, because a fire was raging in the apartment. The resident has been arrested.

The fire brigade was initially alerted to a fire in the apartment, which is located above a cafeteria and surrounded by several apartments. The fire brigade managed to fight the fire with two fire engines, a water truck and a car ladder.

Then the firefighters made a special discovery. In the apartment they found items for the production of synthetic drugs. This would include jerry cans. According to the police, this is a small-scale production area for synthetic drugs. It is not clear whether drugs were also found.

The resident of the apartment has been arrested. The National Dismantling Facility of the police comes to the apartment to investigate. It is not clear whether the items caused the fire.
