Sold out – but not hopeless: Metallica is rocking Berlin, and resale tickets are still available. Prices, platforms and what to expect in the show.

Metallica is coming to Berlin this weekend and playing at the Olympic Stadium. The show on May 30th has been sold out for a long time – you can read here how you can still get tickets and how deep you have to dig into your pockets.

Metallica has now been on the road for their M72 World Tour for four years and is setting a record: In the two nights in Frankfurt on the Pentecost weekend, the band broke the visitor records for Deutsche Bank Park with 62,000 fans on site each. Now the metal band is coming to the Olympic Stadium in Berlin for an evening.

Remaining tickets in resale

The show in the capital was quickly booked out, but tickets are still circulating on reputable resale platforms such as Ticketmaster’s fan resale. When officially sold, regular seating and standing room cost between 100 and 300 euros, depending on the seating category. On the secondary market you can find tickets between 120 and 423 euros. You can no longer find standing room on Ticketmaster, not even in the so-called “Snake Pit”. This is an area that is surrounded by the ring-shaped stage – so you are right in the middle of the action. The official ticket prices for this exclusive experience start at 900 euros.

Surprise for football fans in Frankfurt

Metallica’s tour concept stands above all for variety: for cities in which they play two evenings in a row, there are two completely individual set lists with no overlaps – so it’s even worth going twice. In Frankfurt, the Americans caused an additional surprise: They performed “Black and White as Snow” by Tankard, an Eintracht Frankfurt classic in their own style. This was met with enthusiasm by the football fans, who were allowed to belt out their anthem in their own stadium.
