As our editorial team learned from people close to Fuggerstadt, the FCA is aiming to buy Ulrich. Under returning coach Manuel Baum, the Augsburg team recently achieved ninth place, their best placement since 2014/15. As a newly promoted LaLiga team, Levante only just managed to stay in the league.
In addition to Augsburg, two other Bundesliga clubs are said to be looking into signing Ulrich – one wants to loan the professional, the other wants to sign him permanently. The prerequisite for a new loan deal would be for Ulrich to extend his contract with VfB for at least another year. There is currently no discernible trend as to where he will be heading in the summer.

The German junior international has the most playing time in Magdeburg in 2025/26 after Dominik Reimann, Baris Atik and Marcus Mathisen and was on the pitch for a total of 2,951 minutes. In the upcoming market value update in the 2nd league – Ulrich’s current valuation is 2.5 million euros – he will be one of the winners thanks to his strong performances.
