After Rocco Reitz, his brother Tony will probably also change clubs this summer. As “Sky” reports, the 21-year-old is moving from Borussia Dortmund II to 1. FC Magdeburg in the 2nd Bundesliga. A transfer should be imminent. This means that the BVB reserves lose their captain. The two brothers, however, remain close as Rocco is moving from Borussia Mönchengladbach to RB Leipzig.

Tony Reitz is said to cost a transfer fee of around 400,000 euros with one year left on his contract. The medical check and the signature until 2028 with an option for a one-year extension are scheduled for Friday. Reitz has been active for BVB II since February last year and scored six goals and 16 assists in 49 appearances. Last season there were twelve crucial passes to one goal, making him the second best assist provider in the Regionalliga West.
At FCM, Reitz, whose market value is 200,000 euros, will be the first new signing for the coming season and will meet Luka Hyryläinen and Dariusz Stalmach in the defensive midfield. Silas Gnaka, however, is leaving the club, which only secured relegation on the last matchday. In addition to the 27-year-old, eleven other professionals were given farewell. Rayan Ghrieb was also sold to 1. FC Nürnberg.
