Plenty of opportunities in the future
After brother Kees won the cup with AZ, the family focused on the World Cup. “There was a lot of discussion at the dinner table, but he didn’t feel the pressure to be there. Kees is still very young and there are plenty of tournaments to come,” Susanne concludes.
Friends Gijs and Mats agree with this. “Next European Championship or next World Cup. His chance will come,” says Gijs. “Let’s go on holiday together first.”
