Japanese baseball legend Shinnosuke Abe47, is accused of abusing his own daughter.
Abe was arrested at his home in Tokyo’s Shibuya on Monday after police were called to the scene after a fight.
According to the official report, Abe was trying to break up a dispute between his 15- and 18-year-old daughters. When the older daughter began to resist the orders, the father grabbed her by the collar and tore her to the floor.
Abe, who was intoxicated when the police arrived, has admitted what happened.
– I told them to be quiet, but they didn’t answer and I got furious, he reportedly said during the interrogation.

CEO of the Giants Toru Kunimatsu condemned Abe’s act, saying that “violence cannot be accepted”.
Not everyone agrees, as a petition has been set up for the head coach’s return, which had 50,000 signatures by midday on Wednesday.

Abe’s 18-year-old daughter posted on Tuesday bulletinin which he said that he had sought help from ChatGPT to resolve the situation.
He says he didn’t know when he called 911 that the police would be called to the scene.
Now he regrets that the “typical family situation” took on unreasonable proportions.
