Just under three months after the break between Jan Smit and Liza Plat, according to insiders, the divorce was almost arranged, but little has come out about it. Why is that exactly?
When André Hazes Jr. puts his underpants next to the laundry basket, it is already on the juice channels, while there is almost nothing to read about someone like Jan Smit. And all this while he is divorced from Liza Plat. “According to insiders, the two are not pitted against each other,” reports Privé editor-in-chief Evert Santegoeds in The Telegraph.
New house
One of those insiders says that Liza and Jan ‘both take a down-to-earth attitude’. “And Jan has already indicated that he will bear the consequences of the decision he has made. He wants Liza and the children to lack nothing.”
It was suggested here and there that Jan had already bought a new house for his ex and their children, but nothing is known about that yet. “I suspect that everything will be arranged within a few weeks and that Jan will then return to his own house, which he had built according to his own ideas.”
Typical Jan
We will learn little about the divorce, the insider says. “That’s typical Jan. You can know everything about the good things, new records, new programs, new clothing line. But when things get difficult, you hear almost nothing. You also saw that when his mother Gerda became seriously ill.”
