Lotte Kopecky (30) and Axel Merckx (53) were married on Tuesday in the Bruges town hall. The couple opted for a sober ceremony with only a limited group of attendees.
Kopecky and Merckx live together in Bruges. In recent months they have regularly appeared together in the cycling environment. Merckx was present at several of Kopecky’s races, including at the European Track Cycling Championships and during Liège-Bastogne-Liège.
