Is reproduction in space possible? China sends artificial human embryos to space station for groundbreaking research

China has become the first country to send artificial embryos into space to study how weightlessness and cosmic radiation affect human reproduction. The embryos arrived at China’s Tiangong space station on May 11. The results of the experiment could have major implications for our ability to establish self-sustaining colonies on the moon and Mars.
