Designed for the European market, the new Dolphin G Dm-i will arrive at Italian dealerships this summer with a new looks and a new one plug-in hybrid system. With the aim of becoming even more competitive in the B segment, BYD renews the two-volume sedan with a new version that changes dimensions and engine. Dm in the name it means dual mode, the hybrid technology of the Chinese company, while the the indicates the intelligent system that manages the interaction between the electric and combustion engine, optimizing consumption and autonomy even further. The new Dolphin becomes slightly shorter, but balances the difference by widening by a few centimeters, with 4,290 mm in length and 1,825 mm in width, compared to the 4,290 mm and 1,770 mm of the previous model. They also change geometrieswith a front design made more sporty and minimalist thanks to thinner and more aggressive front lights, as well as the lower air intake. The new Dolphin adopts slimmer and less rounded lines, moving ever closer to the shapes of sports cars.
