The accident happened on the N37 in Ardooie, near the D’Arta frozen food company. The accident involved multiple vehicles, including a truck that ended up on its side.
According to the first information, the truck came from the direction of Tielt. The driver is said to have deviated from the road for a moment. When he wanted to drive back onto the road, the truck probably suffered a blowout. This was followed by a collision with two other vehicles, after which the truck overturned.
