Actor Thijs Boermans’ restaurant has gone bankrupt: the doors have been quietly closed to make way for a new catering tent. “The food turned out to be terribly bad.”
It was a hype for a while: celebrities and influencers who suddenly opened restaurants, often in the capital. Usually they are more of the figurehead of such a tent; this involves a business partner who actually manages the restaurant. For example, influencer Thijs Boermans, Anna Nooshin’s sweetheart, worked with Tijn Verstappen for his restaurant Nonna.
Nonna close
Nonna received terribly bad reviews and now the logical consequence is: Nonna has closed its doors. “It looked fantastic, but the food turned out to be terrible. At least, if we had to believe Het Parool,” notes Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden.
He continues Show news: “They gave a 4 in a review at the time. Not very high marks. They talked about taking the flashlight to see what was there, because it was not clear.”
New restaurant
Thijs closed the doors in silence; no publicity was given to it. “It was already somewhat clear at the time that it would not have a long life,” said the journalist.
Jordi continues: “You now see that Nonna has left and that a new restaurant is coming. Thijs Boermans has let us know that they will have news next week and we will hear about it then.”
