The British band Mis-Teeq is making a comeback, reports BBC. The 2000s girl band included Alesha Dixon, Sabrina Washington and Su-Elise Nash. The group’s hit songs include Scandalous, Why and All I Want.

This year marks 25 years since the band’s debut album Lickin’ on Both Sides appeared. In honor of the anniversary, the band will perform in London in September.

– We can’t wait to relive the magic and energy of our album and many others, with the same people who made it so special, says Alesha Dixon.

Rumors about the band’s comeback swirled a few weeks ago when fans noticed an Instagram account that started posting footage of the girl band.

The band ended unexpectedly in 2005. Dixon is revealed laterthat the band’s record company went bankrupt around that time. The girl band had been offered a contract with another record company, but the singer did not want to continue.

– I knew that if I signed that contract, I would be tied to the group for several more years. I thought, “Here’s a neat way out. Here’s a way to get out without having to fight. I can just leave.”

Dixon made a spectacular comeback when his hit song The Boy Does Nothing appeared in 2008. Many may also remember him from Britain Talent– as a judge of the program. Dixon was also seen hosting the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023.

Nash, on the other hand, has acted as a judge Britain’s Next Urban Superstar in the program. Washington has participated in several different reality TV shows and has had a solo career as a singer.
