A person was injured on Monday afternoon in a stabbing incident at Mariaplaats in the center of Utrecht. The suspect fled after the incident, after which a large-scale search was launched. A police helicopter also circled above the area. A search is underway via Burgernet and in the surrounding area for a man with a light skin color and short hair. He wears a light gray sweater, dark gray pants, dark blue jacket and a cap. He also carries a light gray backpack, an orange bag and black shoes with a white sole.
