In May 2024, Marlien Kramer (42) still thought that life was smiling at her. Her son Melle, then 16 years old, had just obtained his MAVO diploma, was a fanatic sportsman, had a large group of friends and the family – Marlien is married and, in addition to Melle (18), has a daughter (20) and son (15) – was looking forward to a holiday to Curaçao.
