Gordon has refused an invitation from Pauw & De Wit to sit down and watch the Eurovision Song Contest. He doesn’t feel like it. “What do I gain from this?” he says.

It has been almost two years since Gordon became angry with Jeroen Pauw on live television. The talk show host had him at the table because he came to promote his soap opera, but that did not go as expected. Goor believes that he was approached with far too much cynicism by his host and that led to a serious clash, in front of and behind the scenes.

Goor refuses

Although that argument still took place under the banner Bar Laat, Gordon also had no desire to join successor Pauw & De Wit. “The talk show Pauw & De Wit called me to comment on the Eurovision Song Contest. I said no to that,” he says in the Story.

He continues: “And I actually say no to nine out of ten offers. What do I gain from it? Then your head is on TV, and then?”

Time passed

Those days are really over, says Gordon. “I only do things that I really enjoy. Singing with Re-Play is one of them, and I am again working on a program about the elderly and loneliness. But that is still in its infancy.”

Will he sing again with LA The Voices? “The men from LA The Voices all appear to be arguing. Not with me, but with each other. They no longer speak to each other. So that reunion will probably not happen.”
