WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) – According to US President Donald Trump, a framework agreement in the negotiations to end the Iran war has now been “largely” negotiated. The Republican restricted that the whole thing was still subject to final completion by the USA, Iran and other countries, he wrote on the Truth Social platform.
“The final aspects and details of the agreement are currently being discussed and will be announced shortly.” Trump said as part of the agreement that the Strait of Hormuz would be opened.
He previously held talks with representatives of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan and Bahrain. Trump further wrote that he also had a separate telephone conversation with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu./rin/DP/zb
