Fish from Hofvijver must make way for the sustainability of Binnenhof: ‘They receive a small shock that briefly stuns them’

Professional fishermen are busy on Saturday with a special job on the Hofvijver in The Hague. The majority of the fish will be moved there due to the construction of a heat and cold storage facility under the pond and a series of upcoming events. “We want to protect them by largely relocating them now,” explains Monique van der Bijl of the Central Government Real Estate Agency.
