Groningen will offer night shelter on Saturday, Sunday and Monday to asylum seekers for whom there is no room in the reception center in Ter Apel. Mayor Roelien Kamminga has received a request from asylum minister Bart van den Brink. The reception takes place in the Hanzeplaza conference center. It is not yet known how many asylum seekers will spend the night there; that depends on the influx, the municipality says.
