Train traffic between Assen and Meppel has resumed. Due to a power outage, no trains ran between the two cities for much of the evening.
The timetable was resumed at 9:23 p.m., according to the NS travel planner. People who wanted to get from Groningen to Zwolle or vice versa before that time had to travel by train via Leeuwarden.
