Erdi was joined on the podium at the competition in Croatia by the American Charlotte Rose (63 pts) and the British Matilda Nicholls (80 pts). Plasschaert finished fourth with 81 points, but moves towards the European Championship podium because the American Rose is not eligible for a European Championship medal.
The 32-year-old from Ostend finished 26th, 13th and 12th in the three last regattas in Kastela on Friday. The 26th place was her worst result of this week. Plasschaert is still waiting for a first European title in her career. She has already become world champion twice, in 2018 (in Aarhus) and 2021 (in Al-Mussannah).
